Awesome staff, beautiful clean rooms, and super comfortable beds. Other than the fireworks during the month of December, it was very quiet. We had a baby and they provided a crib with bedding that was perfect. The (included) breakfast on the terrace is incredible! We will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Antigua.

This is one of the most disappointing 5 star hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff snubbed me multiple times trying to charge me extra fees and the spa was a JOKE! Please do not stay here, your money is spent better else where. You will get 10x better service and quality for half the price of this joke of a hotel.

Stayed here to celebrate my birthday. The hotel staff were so lovely and even sent a little cake to our room. Room was fabulous and service amazing. I had a massage with Patty and she was just brilliant. So professional and did such an amazing job. Massage was badly needed after backpacking! Couldn't recommend this hotel more. A little taste of paradise in Antigua. Thank you so much!

I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Los Pasos. The aesthetic of the hotel is beautiful, I slept very well in the comfortable beds (although the rooms are small), the food is good, the service is polite, everything is clean and well-managed, and the showers are great (except for one cold shower when I arrived very late at night). I was a little disappointed that I did not receive a welcome drink like other guests did, but I assume it was due to my late arrival. The one slight downside to this hotel is that it's a bit of a walk to everything there is to see, and I would probably stay closer to the town center if I would return to Antigua.

My family of 4 came into town for a wedding and stayed in Room 29. The room was beautiful and the view of the volcano from our window was a great way to wake up every morning. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The staff was wonderful and quick to respond to any need we had. Every corner of the hotel was so charming and picturesque, and the location was great to walk to everything we wanted to see (definitely bring sneakers to navigate the cobblestone though). One person in particular that we have to name is Alfonso. When we inquired about where we could buy the delicious coffee we were drinking, he went out of his way to help plan a whole coffee tour for our large group to his family’s plantation. It was a great way to see the area and his whole family took part in showing us how hard they work to grow and produce the coffee. Alfonso and his family were so warm and the tour included a 1lb bag of coffee per person. Definitely check out La Famiglia del Cafe when in the area!

We had the master suite booked, but the room appeared pretty small for a suite. It's a pretty hotel with beautiful decor, and the terrace offers a really nice view of the volcanoes. Breakfast was included in our stay, the portions were a good size and filling. It's about a 15minute walk to the center, so it was pretty quiet at night. Overall, a nice boutique hotel that's good for couples and solo travelers.

This is a very nice boutique hotel with creatively designed rooms where each room is different. The rooms are clean but not very spacious; however, multiple unique areas around the hotel at different levels and floors could be used for sitting, including the open area on the second floor with amazing views. The service is below average but pleasant. The restaurant is average (we were having difficulty communicating about dietary restrictions and still were served a wrong dish and everything takes long time). The hotel accepts credit cards. The location is very convenient since many places of interest are in walking distance to the hotel.

overall, the experience of staying in this hotel was pretty average and does not deserve an exceptional rating at all. The hotel was missing all the special touches which we have seen in other hotels where we have rated 10 out of 10. we told the staff that we were there for a special occasion (honeymoon) and they did absolutely nothing to make it special at all. we were really disappointed with this hotel and the treatment of the guests. although this hotel has a spa, it doesn’t matter if you are staying in the presidential suite and how much money you spend, you are not even given access to the spa. when you want to get access to the spa you’re told that is completely fully booked. upon arrival, we had to hang around as our room wasn’t ready, there was no welcome drink, which I would’ve expected when we were paying so much money to stay in the presidential suite. when we did finally come to check-in, there was no explanation about anything at the hotel, no understanding of where the roof terrace was, no explanation on where the breakfast was, what time breakfast was et cetera. No information about the rules relating to the spa, we were simply given a key and taken to a room and left there. as we are on our honeymoon, and as we were asked by the hotel to let them know if we were celebrating a special occasion, I was hoping for something special when we arrived in our room. Absolutely nothing, except for a bottle of wine which we would’ve had to pay for. we were planning to hike a volcano the day after check out and I arranged for us to use the spa. Upon returning from the volcano tired from hiking up and down3500 meters completely covered in mud and wanting to have a shower and use the spa, We were told that because we haven’t booked a massage spa was not available for us to use and that the spa was fully booked. I then asked if there was any way that we could have a shower that we were willing to pay for in an unoccupied room, and the lady who appeared to be the manager of the hotel, turned her nose up at us, and told us that she was fully booked and could not help us, then brushed past to help the next guest. this happened at 1pm. checkout is at 12 and check in was at 3pm so for sure there were rooms we could have used to pay to have a quick shower. she just chose not to help us. in the end we had go to to the kitchen where our luggage was being stored(!!!) open the suitcase in the middle of the hotel, go to the toilet and try and freshen up in the sink. After having paid so much money for two nights in the presidential suite of the hotel, and being on our honeymoon, I would have expected something a bit better than to be told no sorry we can’t help you. don’t waste your money at this hotel. there are much better options at a lower price where you will be treated much better and have a better overall experience. of all the hotels we booked, this was a big regret
